DAY 14 Go and Tell!
“And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them.” (Luke 2:17-18)
The message is the same as it was then. The birth of Jesus, the Holy One of God, is good news to all people, everywhere. The shepherds went and spread the news about the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. What they saw and heard, they shared with all who would listen. We too have the same message. We have met our Savior Jesus and our lives have never been the same. We are compelled to go as they went. “Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born!”
Go Tell it on the Mountain
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born!
While shepherds kept their watching
O’er their wandering flocks night
Behold throughout the heavens
There shone a holy light
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born!
He made me a watchman
Upon the city wall,
And if I am a Christian,
I am the least of all.
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born!
